Barum Bravuris 2 is a high performance summer tyre that is suitable for passenger cars of all types. Barum's first tyre in the high performance range, Bravuris 2 is capable of remarkable speeds up to 300 km/h (187 mph).
Barum Bravuris 2 comes with an asymmetrical tread pattern with one centre rib and two rows of tread blocks, flanked by deep grooves. Directional in design, the tread pattern has a lot of room for water dispersion, making the tyre highly aquaplaning resistant. The contour and the shoulder with sipes ensure that water is drained off quickly from the contact area, while the tread blocks and deep grooves provide balanced handling in both dry and wet surfaces. The large number of tread blocks on the inner side of the tyre also help with channelling water, making this Barum Bravuris 2 a superior performer even in extreme wet conditions. The structure of the tread facilitates good braking so much so that the tyre exhibits shorter braking distances and better road handling. Barum Bravuris 2 sports a sturdy tread compound which means the tyre offers good precision and rolling resistance on roads. The new contour (compared to the tyre's predecessor) and the tread compound deliver exceptional mileage and thus, excellent performance on both dry and wet roads.
