Continental Sport Contact 3 is a summer tyre for ultra high performance sports coupes, powerful cars and luxury sedans. The perfect summer tyre can only be driven on dry roads and it is not intended to be driven in sub zero temperatures on icy and snow covered roads. The maximum performance tyre exhibits precise steering response and has excellent braking capacity. The Sport Contact 3 tyre is the outcome of solid tread compound moulded into perfect asymmetric tread pattern for ultra high performance. The solid tread blocks with continuous ribs help in gaining increased cornering stability without deforming and the circumferential grooves provide resistance to aquaplaning. The notched shoulder blocks come in action to help gaining good wet traction. Finally, for the high speed capability, the structure of the tyre is inbuilt with twin steel belts.
