Continental VancoWinter 2 is a special winter tyre for heavy duty. The smart and versatile tyre is also very economical and meets the demanding needs of winter driving. The perfect chum for cargo vans or passenger vans, the tyre ensures safety driving on snowy and icy roads. With improved braking performance, the tyre gives the comfort of passenger cars. The tyre has passed the RMA testing standards and has snowflake marking on it. The tyre designed of unique cold weather compound offers extra mileage. The tread pattern of VancoWinter 2 is unique as it expands on applying brakes. The sipes across create an ice scrapping effect to reduce the breaking distance. For protection against aquaplaning, the lateral grooves drain and channel the water under the tyre. The optimum tyre footprint of VancoWinter 2 offers 30% increased winter mileage. Being a new release, the tyre has proved itself by receiving the approval of the most demanding manufacturer : Mercedes. The tyre is mounted as Original Equipment (OE) in Sprinter van and the Iveco Daily.

Comment: C'est mon troisième hiver avec ces pneus, donc la gomme a durci avec le temps, et à l'avant, alors qu'ils semblent encore "bons" (usés mais pas jusqu'au témoin, bref, ça devrait encore tenir...), ils n'accrochent plus rien sur la neige épaisse de début de saison (il ne fait pas trop froid...). Globalement très bons, mais j'essaye un autre modèle dans la quête du pneu idéal... En tout cas, j'avais essayé des Falken HS 437, et là, rien à voir... les Conti accrochent vraiment mieux, et ça dure plus longtemps...
