General Tire Grabber AT2 is a tyre with an attitude. Aggressive, sturdy and bold, the tyre features a symmetric tread design that provides extreme traction on all terrains. The tyre's speciality is the 5-row tread design which sports independent tread blocks in five rows with many biting edges, numerous sipes and deep grooves. The tread pattern allows the tyre to bite into snow, mud/slush and also get good grip on wet or dry conditions. Chip and tear resistant, the tread design makes acute traction with any kind of surface – gravel or sand. The grooves which are extra deep and sharp provide exceptional aquaplaning resistance and handling in winter weather. This Grabber's tread comes with acoustically-engineered pattern. Result: a quieter and comfortable ride you can never dream of from an AT tyre. While the square tread contour delivers commanding surface contact, the tyre's traction ridges at the base of every groove, pulls through even tough trails. Grabber AT2 comes equipped with a rim protector too. The rim protector flange cleans debris on the bead and also protects the tread from damage. The Grabber AT2 pulls through every thick and thin when it comes to off-road performance. Meeting the severe snow service requirements of RMA and RAC, the tyre chews and claws its way through snow. The tread has self-cleaning lugs which ensure that snow doesn't get in the way of traction. Decent traction is achieved in gravel, sand, forested trails and watery surfaces, especially when aired down a little. Though the Grabber AT2 is great on mud or slush, it is a bit off-grip on deep and thick mud. However, it manages to pass through without getting stuck or rim damage.
