Michelin Alpin A2 features a symmetrical tread design with two very deep circumferential grooves interlocked by tread blocks and supported by a centre rib. This Michelin's shoulder is strong, solid and bold. The wide lateral grooves that drain into the shoulders ensure proper aquaplaning and thereby, optimum wet grip even at high speeds. The centre rib is divided by a thin, linear groove and numerous sipes to facilitate braking stability and grip during cornering or off-road driving. Snow driving experience is enhanced by the biting edges on the tread face which also promote self-cleaning while on loose snow and slush. The tyre has a fuel-saving rolling resistance which promises longer tread life and thereby, durability against all odds.
