Yokohama AVS DB V550 is a summer tyre with a sporty performance. Designed for passenger vehicles, its directional tread pattern enhances performance on dry conditions. The advanced technology based Zeruma - Silica compound contributes excellent traction on wet and dry surfaces. The special compound ensures better grip on wet and dry surfaces. The anti-wear properties of the tyre improve life expectancy by preventing uneven tread wear. The four wide center grooves maximize water dispersion and improve resistance against aquaplaning while the 5- pitch tread variation pattern reduces the hammering noise generated by the tyre. The small tread blocks further assist in minimizing uneven tread wear and tyre noise while the solid center rib constitutes to the tyre's stiffness at high speeds. This tyre is highly tractable on wet and dry roads.

Confort et silence remarquables. Stabilité en virage perfectible en raison d'une rigidité de flanc nettement insuffisante (sensation de flou dans les grandes courbes accentuée par la hauteur de flanc 225/60/15). Non testé sur neige.
